rooms are on the second floor, typical of a restored Victorian era Michigan home,
and feature "top of the line" bedding.

The Colonial Bedroom and the Country Bedroom each offer a private bath, private entry, and parlor. Breakfast with rooms
– $98 per night plus tax. Rooms without breakfast – $95 per night plus tax.
The Lightkeepers Studio for Four offers two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a private bath, and a private entry
with porch and garden. $95 per night for two, $175 per night for four, plus tax.
Breakfast is not served with the rental of the Studio.

We are now offering this historic1865 Italianate American
farmhouse as The Benzie Grand B&B. For summer and fall 2008, each room
is offered as a suite with bath. Four rooms are available, two with full beds, two
with two twin beds. Rates: $80 per night without breakfast; $90 with breakfastat
the Betsie Bay Inn in Frankfort.

How to get there:
From Frankfort – take M-115 east to the traffic signal in Benzonia. Turn right
on US-31 and go one block to Traverse Avenue. Turn right (west) on Traverse Avenue
and go about 1.5 blocks to 6756. The Benzie Grand is on the right (north) side of
the street.
From the north – take US-31 one block south past the traffic signal in Benzonia
to Traverse Avenue. Turn right (west) on Traverse Avenue and go about 1.5 blocks
to 6756. The Benzie Grand is on the right (north) side of the street.
From the south – take US-31 "up the hill" into Benzonia, and watch
for Traverse Avenue on the left. Traverse Avenue is two short blocks before (south
of) the traffic light. Turn left (west) on Traverse Avenue and go about 1.5 blocks
to 6756. The Benzie Grand is on the right (north) side of the street.
Note: West of and outside of Benzonia, Traverse Avenue is called River Road
and goes to Frankfort-Elberta. East of and outside Benzonia, Traverse Avenue is called
Homestead Road and heads straight east for many miles. |

Location . . .
We are located at 402 Leelanau Avenue, on the corner of Fourth and Leelanau, in
Frankfort, Michigan.
As you drive into Frankfort...
- From the east on M-115, or from the south M-22, and come to the blinking stop
light in the center of town, proceed through the light, go three blocks west to Fourth
Street, turn right and we are on the southeast corner of Fourth and Leelanau.
- From the north on M-22, and come to the blinking stop light in the center of
town, turn right at the light, go three blocks west to Fourth Street, turn right
and we are on the southeast corner of Fourth and Leelanau).
Parking is available on Leelanau Avenue, just in front of the house. You will
find your reservation posted on the front door!
